Our history
I began my career in the U.S. Army, serving from 1983 to 1989 in Combat Construction, where I learned discipline, hard work, and how to build under pressure. After leaving the service, I carried those values into the trades and started working as a laborer here in Denver in 1991. I learned the industry from the ground up — sweeping floors, hauling materials, and mastering every phase of interior construction through hands‑on experience.
Over the years, that foundation grew into Wainwright’s Construction, a veteran‑owned company built on craftsmanship, integrity, and doing the job right the first time. What started with a broom and a toolbelt has become a full‑service interior construction business trusted by homeowners and general contractors across Colorado and Wyoming.
